1992 Invader Marine V198 Bowrider in good shape. Mercruiser 4.3L stern drive runs everytime you hit the key. Power trim on the lower unit works like new. The drive system is also equipped with power steering. There are no defects in the fuel, electrical, or ignition system. The motor runs smooth throughout the rpm range and is very reliable, usually starting on the first turn of the key. I have had no problem crossing Lake Ponchatrain with confidence. All routine service was performed on the engine and lower unit in early summer, and no major repairs have been made in the time Ive owned the boat. The upholstery in the rear and middle seats is new, as is the carpet throughout the boat. You can see from the pictures that the rear and middle seats are in great shape. The seats in the bow are begining to crack and wear. The floor is solid with no soft or weak spots. All gauges in the dash work including oil, temp., fuel, and speedometer. The trim gauge no longer works, and the hour gauge did not work when I bought it. The boat radio and speakers are shot, and I have them out of the boat currently. The panels to install them will come with the sale, and the wiring should already be in place for installation. This has been an all around good boat to cruise the rivers and lakes, and to pull inflatable towables, or skiers/knee-boarders. The engine is very strong and it is nothing to pull a large tube with 4 kids on it. Its top speed is around 40 mph, but could be improved by changing the prop if desired. The swim platform is in good shape, but the swim ladder is bent due to a one-time overloading. Included in the sale is a Shorelandr galvanized trailer. The tires are in good shape (including the spare), as are the boards. The bearings were serviced in May. The wiring is a four-pin harness and all lights work. The trailer is in overall great shape. Also included in the sale will be a Big Bertha towable inflatable, tow harness/rope, six life vests, and all required lines and safety items. A boat cover is also included. This boat has brought much enjoyment for my wife and I, but we are moving to Memphis and need to sell. It is mechanically sound, and you could hit the water with it the same day it is delivered. Will deliver for free within 100 miles of Ruston, LA. Will deliver to New Orleans, LA, Jackson, MS, Dallas,TX, Little Rock, AR, or Memphis, TN area for $100. Other destinations negotiable.
